Jarrad
Branthwaite is a 19-year-old football player from Verenigd Koninkrijk
who plays as a center-back for the Premier League club Everton.

Branthwaite became
the first signing of manager Carlo
Ancelotti’s tenure at Goodison Park when he joined Everton from
Carlisle United in January 2020, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract.

The youngster,
at the age of 18 made his Premier
League
 breakthrough for the club on July 12, 2020, against Wolverhampton
Wanderers. He came on as a substitute as an injury crisis for the Blues opened
up an opportunity.

He made his home
debut against Aston Villa on 16 July 2020 and started his first game for Everton
on 20 July 2020 against Sheffield United after signing an extended contract until
June 2023, in which he was named man of the match

Loan Spell at Blackburn
Rovers

Branthwaite was
loaned to Championship club Blackburn Rovers in July 2021. He played 10 games
in all last season for the team, before returning to his parent club Everton. His Championship campaign was
brought to a sudden end after he picked up an ankle injury in training.

The last appearance
that Branthwaite made came on April 16, 2021, for Blackburn Rovers against Derby
County; a match that he played 90 minutes in during a 2-1 victory.

Return to
Everton

The defender
immediately underwent surgery upon his arrival and returned to action as Everton
Under-23s beat Southport at the Pure Stadium before the start of the Premier
League campaign.

Branthwaite made
his first start for this 2021-22 season against Huddersfield in the second round
of the EFL Cup. The Blues are in
second place on the table at present with four points. They will be in action Premier
League action against Brighton & Hove Albion on August 28, in the Falmer
Stadium.
