Troubling footage from security cameras shows Taylor entering Ailish’s North London house at 8:36 p.m. and leaving at 9:14 p.m. Ailish’s friend had called the victim five minutes prior to his departure and could hear yelling and arguing in the background.

The court heard that she had gotten in touch with Ailish when she hurriedly texted her while attempting to remove Taylor from the Stoke Newington flat because he was doing drugs.

Later, when Ailish’s father got there, he discovered her in her bedroom, motionless and soaked in blood. She was covered with a high-visibility jacket with Taylor’s bank card in the pocket. Two dumbbells and a pair of bloodied scissors were also discovered nearby.
