Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have engaged in some long games. In the 2012 Australia Open, the two played the longest ever Grand Slam final at five hours and 53 minutes. The 2018 semi-final between Nadal and Djokovic lasted for five hours and 15 minutes.

However, the much the spectators enjoy long rallies, plenty of breakpoints and a thrilling contest, they would want the French Open semi-final on Friday to not last more than three hours.

When Djokovic and Nadal‘s match clocks three hours and 36 minutes to be specific, the spectators will have to leave the court. A night curfew in Paris is enforced at 11:00 PM local time.

During Djokovic‘s quarter-final match against Matteo Berrettini on Wednesday, the spectators were enraged to have to leave Roland Garros. The fans were expected to leave by 10:45 PM, but they did not and the match had to be interrupted.

The restrictions mean that there is a high possibility of an interruption today.
