A win at the French Open could be a career-defining moment for both the men’s singles finalists – Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas. While Djokovic aims at becoming the only player to win a Double Career Grand Slam in 52 years, Tsitsipas will take a shot at his first major title. The two face each other at the Phillipe-Chartier court, starting at 2.30 PM local time/6.30 PM IST

Djokovic arrives at the final riding on a thrilling win against 13-time Roland Garros champion Rafael Nadal. In a four-hour 11 minute game, Djokovic defeated Nadal 3-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2.

Fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas fought for three hours and 37 minutes to secure a 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 win over Alexander Zverev in the semi-final.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Novak Djokovic are first and second on the FedEx ATP Rankings. A victory on Sunday will be a major boost to their race for year-end No 1, which is solely on FedEx ATP Race To Turin points this year.
