Arcade Fire, the Canadian indie rock band, has announced they’ll be performing at Coachella, Indio, California. Their performance is on Friday, that is tomorrow.
Both the band and Coachella Music & Artist Festival confirmed the news, with the latter tweeting the set times as well.
The band have a new album “We” out next month and in the past few weeks, they’ve played at benefit concerts for Ukraine relief, in New York and New Orleans, managing to raise over $150,000.

Coachella was earlier supposed to be headed by Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, and Travis Scott. While Ocean is to headline in 2023, Scott’s headlining capacities were called into question after the tragedy at Astroworld. Meanwhile, RATM has a huge lineup for the year, but the California music festival is not among them.
As for Arcade Fire, this is not the group’s only surprising news of the month. Will Butler, a longtime band member, departed after an unexpected announcement. Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner stepped in for Butler in the US shows.
