Tom Brady has returned from retirement once before. Hence, there was a great deal of uncertainty regarding the sustainability of his most recent retirement.
However, Brady said on Tuesday that he is not thinking about making a second comeback from retirement, noting that he wouldn’t have the time given a recent adoption of a pet.

Brady made his first retirement speech on February 1, 2022, and then he decided to play another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One year later, on February 1, 2023, following the Buccaneers’ loss to the Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card game, Brady made his second retirement announcement.

Rich Eisen highlighted the top five rumors he overheard at the NFL Combine on Monday. At the time, Eisen claimed that some Indianapolis locals informed him that Brady was not finished playing football after all. The Miami Dolphins were mentioned by those sources as a potential landing site for Brady.
Brady responded to these rumors quickly and stated that his fresh start outside of football is keeping him occupied. Interestingly, his life focuses on helping his daughter in caring for a two-month-old kitten that they’ve adopted.
“Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2-month-old kitten for their daughter,” Brady tweeted.
Besides the current kitten commitment, the “GOAT” hinted that he would now have time to work on his latest film, “80 For Brady.”
The sports comedy is produced by the 45-year-old three-time MVP, as well as Donna Gigliotti, and is based on the true story of four lifelong friends who make a trip to Super Bowl LI in 2017 to see the New England Patriots play the Atlanta Falcons.
Brady’s decision to leave the game this time seems to be a meaningful one. He also formally confirmed his retirement by submitting paperwork to the NFL and NFLPA last month.
