Jason McCourty was trolled on social media for his ‘extra long’ Tennessee Titans pick announcement and roasting Kansas City Chiefs at the 2023 NFL Draft. Several former players took the stage to announce picks.
The former cornerback was picked 203rd overall, in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Announcing the Titans’ pick wearing a Houston Oilers T-shirt, McCourty went after the draft’s host city Kansas. He also teased the defending Super Bowl winners Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs about losing the 2018 AFC championship game and their famous barbecue.
“I remember being in Arrowhead Stadium in 2018, when we won the AFC championship game and we went to the Super Bowl, and Patrick Mahomes was one trophy short!” McCourty fired shots.
After his stint with the Titans, the cornerback also played for the Cleveland Browns, New England and Miami Dolphins. His Patriots team beat Kansas in the AFC title game.
McCourty then announced that Nashville, Tennessee had the best barbecue in the United States. The thousands of Kansas City fans in the crowd booed him.
Jason McCourty went on and on with his monologue and Twitter users were nothing but frustrated.

“Jason McCourty had a lot to say. The “pick is in” jingle even played twice,” a Twitter user pointed out.
“Never thought I’d have to tell Jason McCourty to stfu. 😂” another one added.
“Jason McCourty trying to get Chiefs fans pumped about GMFB 🤣 We all lost interest in that show a while ago 😬” a third one tweeted.
The former Patriot said that the Houston Texans would get their “letterman’s jackets” again.
