According to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, Miami Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey’s second day of training camp was reportedly cut short when he was taken to the locker room following an injury on the field on Thursday.

According to a report by Safid Deen of USA Today, the accident happened at the conclusion of the practise. Ramsey being taken away might not have been necessary, timing-wise.

The 28-year-old, who was protecting wide receiver Tyreek Hill on a pass play, abruptly grabbed his left knee during an 11-on-11 game, according to the sources. Before he reportedly limped into the cart, trainers examined him while he stood on the sidelines.

“Everybody’s worried about him,” safety Jevon Holland told reporters Thursday. “I’m not a medical professional, so I’m not gonna try to diagnose him.”

The six-time Pro Bowler revealed on social media that he especially prayed for the deal that sent Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins with the Los Angeles Rams to happen in March.

Before practise on Friday, head coach Mike McDaniel will address the media. He should be able to give more information about Ramsey’s prognosis.

After practise, there was no official word on Ramsey’s condition; cornerback Kader Kohou responded, “He’s going to be good,” in reference to his secondary teammate, while safety Jevon Holland stated he spoke to Ramsey on the sidelines but refrained from making any assumptions about a possible injury.

This offseason, the Dolphins acquired Ramsey along with tight end Hunter Long and cornerback Xavien Howard in exchange for a third-round pick. When he addresses the media on Friday morning, head coach Mike McDaniel is anticipated to address the situation with Ramsey.
