Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White suffered a serious leg injury during the team’s Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins.

The All-Pro corner sustained the injury without any contact while covering a receiver down the field. After the incident, White immediately reached for his leg. As per reports, it is officially confirmed it is an Achilles injury, which will unfortunately sideline him for the rest of the season and likely beyond.
White, a two-time Pro Bowler, expressed his frustration by throwing his helmet as the Bills’ medical staff rushed to attend to him. His teammates gathered around for support. White appeared visibly upset, with a towel over his head, as he was driven to the locker room by the trainers.

Tre’Davious White is a well-known cornerback for the National Football League’s (NFL) Buffalo Bills. At Louisiana State University (LSU), where he developed his football skills, he was named a unanimous All-American in 2016. He was chosen by the Bills in the opening round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Due to his outstanding performance, White was selected for the 2019 and 2020 Pro Bowls and was named to the first team of All-Pros in 2019. His outstanding coverage skills, toughness, and propensity for intercepting passes have earned him a stellar reputation. With six interceptions, he led the NFL in a spectacular season in 2019, earning a position on the Pro Football Writers Association All-NFC team.

White experienced a setback after tearing his left ACL against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12 of 2021. He was forced to miss the rest of the season due to this injury, but it is expected that he will fully heal in time for the 2022 campaign.
