Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has suffered a possible back injury while playing against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

His return status has been officially categorized as questionable.
The Dolphins offense is now having trouble in the game; they are behind 10-3 midway through the second quarter. With two receptions for 24 yards, Waddle has made a major contribution. Almost all of Miami’s 36 yards gained in their first 14 plays have come from Waddle. It might be especially harder for the offense to rally without Waddle beside wide receiver Tyreek Hill if he is sidelined.
No other Dolphins receiver has yet to record a reception, but Hill has five grabs for 19 yards thus far.

Waddle initially complained of back pain. He tried to play despite the discomfort, but in the end, he left the field ahead of halftime and headed to the locker room.
Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle plays for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Alabama to play collegiate football, where he was named to the First Team All-SEC twice and won the SEC Freshman of the Year award in 2018. The Dolphins selected Waddle in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2021.

Waddle, who stands 5’10” and weighs 185 pounds, is a dangerous player who can play both down the field and in the center due to his exceptional speed and athleticism. He also has proficiency as a blocker.
Waddle made the PFWA All-Rookie Team after showcasing his skills in his rookie NFL season with 104 receptions for 1,015 yards and six touchdowns. He improved even more in 2022, racking up 135 receptions for 1,356 yards and eight touchdowns. His first selection to the Pro Bowl resulted from this exceptional performance.
