The good news just keeps on coming for DC fans. It has been
confirmed by the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment that the fans will get a
special sneak peek into the movie at DC FanDome which will be held on October 16.  The film is slated to release on October 19.

The animated film has been inspired by a video game titled
Injustice: Gods Among Us video game. The game from video game developer
NetherRealm Studios also inspired DC’s comic titled ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us:
Year One.

The comic was highly popular amongst the fans even though the concept
was perceived silly by some.

The film takes place on an alternate Earth and shows the
Joker tricking Superman into killing Lois Lane. This causes the hero to lose control
and go on a rampage.  He decides to take
over the world but Batman tries to put an end to the madness by gathering a
team of superheroes.

The Justice League finds itself divided with different heroes
picking sides throughout the conflict and superheroes are at war. How will the people
survive in this world?

Voices of several talented personalities will be heard in
the film. The list includes Justin Hartley as Superman, Anson Mount as Batman,
Janet Varney as Wonder Woman, Brandon Micheal Hall as Cyborg, Kevin Pollak as
Joker and Jonathan Kent, Anika Noni Rose as Catwoman.

While some other voices will be performed by Reid Scott as
Green Arrow and Victor Zsasz, Edwin Hodge as Mr. Terrific and Killer Croc,
Gillian Jacobs as Harley Quinn, Oliver Hudson as Plastic Man, Laura Bailey as
Lois Lane and Rama Kushna, Faran Tahir as Ra’s al Ghul, Derek Phillips as
Nightwing and Aquaman, Yuri Lowenthal as Mirror Master, Flash & Shazam,
Zach Callison as Damian and Jimmy Olsen, Brian T. Delaney as Green Lantern,
Fred Tatasciore as Captain Atom, and Andrew Morgado as Mirror Master Soldier.

The movie, directed by Matt Peters and produced
by Sam Register, will be available on several streaming platforms from October 19.
