Ella Emhoff, stepdaughter of US Vice
President Kamala Harris, made her debut at the New York
Fashion Week on Thursday. Earlier, her choice of outfit during
Biden and Harris’ swearing-in ceremony had also gone viral. The 21-year-old
walked the runway for the fashion label Proenza Schouler in the fashion week,
AFP reported.

Emhoff reportedly wore three
different outfits for the label: a long, grey jacked paired up with matching trousers,
a black trench coat, and a dark pantsuit.

“That was my first ever fashion
experience. I have to say I was a little nervous. I definitely lost a little
sleep the night before”, Emhoff was quoted by AFP as saying to two Proenza
Schoulder designers in the New York Fashion Week official website.

Emhoff signed up with modelling
agency IMG Models late in January, after her look in the Presidential inauguration
went viral.

She wore a Miu Miu coat to the
ceremony.

A final-year student at New York’s

recently a collection of total five items such a sweater vest, and a striped
dress.

Emhoff is the daughter of Kamala
Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff and his first wife Kirstin Mackin.
