The image
was captured near Virginia, according to NASA, and the term “transit”
is used to describe the event when one object crosses in front of another in
space. At the time of this transit, astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Thomas
Pesquet were working on the installation of a new roll-out solar array on the
International Space Station. The spacewalk lasted six and a half hours and 45
minutes.
