Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has announced that he will visit India in the first week of April to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

“Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will pay his first official visit to India on Saturday, 2 April 2022, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said the Foreign Media Adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister.
The two leaders first met last October on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, when PM Modi invited PM Bennett to pay an official visit to India, according to the statement.

“This visit will reaffirm the important connection between the countries and leaders, and will mark the 30th anniversary of Israel-India relations,” it added.
According to informed sources, the visit will last four days, from April 2 to April 5.
“The visit’s goal is to advance and strengthen the countries’ strategic alliance as well as strengthen bilateral ties. The leaders will also discuss how to improve collaboration in a range of areas, including innovation, the economy, research and development, agriculture, and more “, according to the media adviser.
During his visit, Bennett will meet with his Indian counterpart, key government officials, and members of the local Jewish community.
