The nominations for the 78th Golden Globe Awards were announced on Wednesday, with ‘The Crown‘ leading the list. Emma Corrin, who portrayed the role of Princess Diana in the fourth season of the Netflix period drama, has been nominated for best actress in a TV drama category.
Following the announcement, Corrin took to Instagram to express her gratitude.
“Thank you so much @goldenglobes! A real honour to be named amongst a group of such talented and inspirational women! Working on The Crown was the most magical experience in no small part thanks to the incredible cast and crew that supported and help guide me through THANK YOUU,” she wrote.
Corrin will go up against Olivia Colman (The Crown), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Laura Linney (Ozark) and Sarah Paulson (Ratched).
