Jack Nicholson has become a recluse and has not appeared in public for a while. Nicholson, who is often referred to as one of the greatest actors of all time, is a recipient of numerous awards including three Academy Awards, three BAFTA Awards, and six Golden Globe Award. Throughout his career which spanned for five decades, he has acted in several critically acclaimed films One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975), and As Good as It Gets (1997).

Nicholson now lives in his luxurious Mulholland Drive mansion and has not been seen out since the Los Angeles Lakers basketball game on October 19, 2021 which he attended with his 30 year old son. 

“He’s made it clear his home is his castle. But people just wish he’d come out of the house and pop up to tell them how — or at least reassure folks he’s OK,” revealed an inside source as reported by RADAR. 

“Jack’s in touch with certain relatives — especially Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of — but his socializing days are long gone,” the insider further said.

Many say that the noted actor might be mirroring his colleague and The Godfather’s Marlon Brando. “Brando died a virtual recluse after leading such a colorful life, and Jack’s friends are drawing comparisons. His kids will visit, but they’re his only connection to the world,” the insider informed. 

Many close friends of the actor fear that he might be suffering from dementia, RADAR insiders reveal so. 

“Jack and I have been friends for years and he doesn’t leave his house anymore… I think his son and daughter are looking after him now,” another one of his mates spoke about his situation. 

Nicholson last starred in romantic comedy How Do You Know some twelve years ago, alongside Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, and Paul Rudd.
