US Pop icons, including Katy Perry and Camila Cabello, as well as actor
Reese Witherspoon recently addressed the COVID-19 spike in India, asking fans to
donate so that help could be passed on to those distressed due to the pandemic.
The three are the most recent additions to a host of film, television and musical
icons to have come forward for this cause.
Katy Perry shared images of three oxygen-based medical equipment in
her post: namely, a high-flow oxygen concentrator, a low-flow oxygen concentrator,
as well as an oxygen cylinder, while highlighting the prices of all three devices.

“… Hospitals have stopped admitting patients because they are
running low on vital supplies and equipment, including oxygen, leaving people
to watch loved ones die on stretchers outside the hospital doors. My friends at
the @thebritishasiantrust are trying to help by getting as many oxygen
concentrators to hospitals as quickly as possible. If you’d like to help,
please consider donating at the link in my bio”, Perry captioned the image.
Cabello, on the other hand, seemed to have found a way to increase the
effectiveness of the donation, as she talked requested her audience to donate
money to her acquaintance Jay Shetty, which would then be matched by a sponsor
paying the same amount.
