Balanced diet

Iron, Vitamins C and E, lutein, zinc and omega 3 fatty acids are absolute essentials to your diet for healthy eyes. These nutrients can help ward off vision-related issues like cataracts and macular degeneration.

Here are some great sources of these nutrients- Green leafy vegetables, fish, non-meat protein, citrus fruits like lemon, oranges, etc.

Eye exercises

While we are growing cautious about the importance of exercising and keeping our bodies in good shape, we often tend to ignore our eyes. Regular eye exercises help to strengthen eye muscles and to make vision clearer.

Protective eye wears

Like we wear masks for protection against coronavirus, similarly, proper lenses ad glasses serve as maks for eyes that protects them from harmful ultraviolent rays and blue cut radiations emitting from our digital screens.

Proper sleep

Frequent screen breaks

We all spend a significant amount of time in front of screens, be it mobiles, laptops or computers. These devices expose the eyes to harmful blue light. Therefore, it is important to take screen breaks every 20 minutes and ensure that the eye is at the same level as the screen to reduce strain.
