Bollywood actor Jisshu Sengupta will be portraying a single father in the upcoming Bengali movie ‘Baba, Baby O’. 

Bengali film producers Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy shared the news on Friday. 

Nandita Roy said the plot of the movie will be based on a contemporary concept and she hopes it will be appreciated by the audience.

The film has renowned names from the industry like Aritra Mukherjee, who will be directing the movie and Zinia Sen, who is writing the screenplay. Moreover, the film has Samragnee Bandyopadhyay, who will be writing the dialogues. 

The film is set to be an intense love story with a lot of humour. The filmmaker said that the production team also had positive reactions after Zinia Sen came up with the story. 

Jisshu Sengupta previosuly featured in Bollywood movies like ‘Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Durgamati’ and ‘Sadak 2’.
