The fifth episode of Marvel’s Loki is now available on Disney, and fans are noticing a ton of Marvel Comics Easter eggs. In the episode, we are introduced to a strange bunker of four pruned Lokis, who is banished to the end of time for crimes against the TVA.

Inside the bunker/hideout spot is a motley collection of pruned objects from across history, including, of all things, a Polybius arcade cabinet. For those unfamiliar with Polybius, it%u2019s an arcade machine from the 1980s that is the stuff of urban legend. Most accounts of Polybius conclude that it involves an arcade machine that was supposedly test-marketed in Portland, Oregon in the early %u201980, which is also the myth of Polybius.

While episode five mostly focused on the Void which is inhabited by people and things that have been “pruned” by the TVA, including several Loki variants. As a result, the background of this episode was filled with several easter eggs beyond the Polybius machine, including the Thanos Copter. Thus, it ties a real mystery/urban legend to the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hinting at a supernatural explanation.

The episode is stuffed with shocking revelations, thus making fans even more excited for the finale. We’ll have to wait until next week to find more about easter eggs, Polybius, Thanos Copter, and Helicarrier.
