Fight master Vivek died on the sets of the
Kannada film ‘Love You Racchu’ on August 9. The shooting of the film was taking place in Jogenahalli near Bidadi, Karnataka, where
the incident happened. The police officials have taken
stunt master, Vinod, into custody for further investigation, reports India Today.

According to reports, Vivek stepped on an electric wire and died on the shooting spot. The team, including
lead actor Ajay Rao, was shooting for a fight sequence near a private resort.
Vivek was a part of the stunt crew and helped the team.
Reportedly, two more members sustained injuries and were taken to a private
hospital for questioning. The crew members tried to revive Vivek, but it was
too late by then.
The Bidadi police alleged that the ‘Love You Racchu’ team did
not take permission for the film shooting. Director Shankar has also been
summoned for questioning.

“I was sitting 200
metres away from the spot where the fight was being shot. I heard their screams
and rushed to see what happened and came to know that Vivek died on the spot.
“I
was not part of the scene. A high tension line was nearby and there was water
around the spot stocked by the film crew for the fight scene. I refused to be
part of the stunt scene due to Covid-19 and I did not wish to come in contact
with them,” Ajay Rao, who plays the lead role in the film, told Indian Express.
