Indian cricketer Shikha Pandey shared a heartfelt note,
which she wrote after receiving her white Test jersey ahead of the country’s
tour of England. She is a senior pace bowler who is currently undergoing a 14-day quarantine with other players in Mumbai’s bio-bubble. India will kick-start
the two-month-long tour with a one-off Test against England on June 16 in
Bristol. All the players received their jersey at the hands of skipper Mithali
Raj and veteran Pacer Jhulan Goswami.

The cricketer shared the moment with her fans on twitter along
with her childhood picture.

Team India are preparing to face England in a Test match, a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series starting June 16. The Test match is a significant as the Indian women are playing after seven years. The last test match
was played against South Africa in November 2014.

Shikha has picked 36 and 73 wickets in 550 T20I’s and 52
ODI’s respectively. Despite representing India in more than 100 limited
overs game, she has played only two red-ball cricket matches for India and
picked four wickets.
