Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) portrayed Arturo Roman as the most hated character in its first three seasons. But season 4 and season 5 had two new characters – Alicia Sierra and Cesar Gandia – who could give a tough fight to Roman. Cesar Gandia, played by 41-year-old
actor Jose Manuel Poga can certainly be said to be the most hated character in the latest season of the series.

Since Gandia’s introduction, it was certain that he would cause chaos.

He is the Chief
of Security at the Bank of Spain and was a member of the Green Berret.

He is fueled with a thirst for blood and a big sense of pride. He does not wish to
go home to his wife and kids as a man who got caught and controlled by a group
of thugs and simply sat as a spectator while the action unfolded. He wishes to
be a national hero.

He elevated
the show to new levels and has been a consistent pain in the team’s rear. His assassination
techniques, stealth, power, endurance and pain tolerance are second to none.
Gandia’s biggest moments have been the killing of Nairobi (singlehandedly), almost
being beaten to death by Bogota, escaping the bank as a hostage and then coming
back in with the army and the killing of Tokyo.

While it
seems nearly impossible, it remains to be seen whether Gandia survived Tokyo’s
clever bomb blast or not. The moment she sacrificed herself in order to save
the team, establishing herself as a fan favorite and etching herself in the
memories of the fans. There has been no official confirmation about his character’s
demise and it’s making the fans anxious.

Everyone is
hoping for Gandia to be dead but how can we be sure when it seems like he has
more lives than a cat?
