The DC FanDome is a virtual fiesta for fans of the DC
Universe present all around the globe. It was born in June 2020 out of what is considered
to be Warner Bros. and DC’s response to the cancellation of San Diego Comic Con’s
edition due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The livestream showcases a host of activities for one day
only. This includes exclusive reveals, behind the scenes looks, fan
celebrations, appearances from the biggest DC stars, creators and a lot more.
It also showcases and reveals exclusive information about
the upcoming projects including movies, TV shows, comic books and games all of
which are based on a character belonging to the vast and unending DC Universe.

Although, the fans can catch some of the happenings later on
videos uploaded on DC FanDome’s official site, it is never equivalent to the
fun and thrill of watching the event live.
Some of the biggest DC superheroes are Batman, Superman,
Aquaman, Harley Quinn, the Flash, Peacemaker, Wonder Woman and Supergirl
amongst others.

Imagine getting the latest information surrounding most of
these characters in one event. That is exactly what the DC FanDome offers to
all the fans who tune in for the event.
The free to attend global virtual fan event has had two
editions until now, both of which have been a grand success which paved the way
for the upcoming third edition to be held on October 16.

The first convention which was held on August 22, 2020 was
titled ‘DC FanDome: Hall of Heroes’ while the second convention was given the
title of ‘DC FanDome: Explore the Multiverse’. It will be interesting to find
out what title DC manages to muster up this time.
According to multiple reports, last year’s events managed to
garner a total of 22 million views (approximately) spread across 220 countries.
The upcoming convention which is set to be held on October
16 will be available with subtitles in 12 languages. While a separate website
will show a kid friendly version of the livestream.
