The former president revealed that Ivana Trump died a day earlier at her Manhattan residence at the age of 73, but provided no information on the cause or manner of her death. The New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner’s statement on Friday did not go into detail about how Ivana Trump died, but it did express officials’ conclusion that her death was unintended.

According to media sources, Ivana Trump was discovered at the foot of her home’s steps on Thursday, and police were considering the possibility that she had unintentionally fallen.

Falls are the top cause of injury-related death in persons 65 and older, according to US health officials. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 64 out of every 100,000 older individuals die as a result of an accidental fall.

Ivana Trump was born in 1949 in Zlin, Czech Republic. She was a skier, ski instructor, and model before marrying Donald Trump, a real estate magnate, in 1977.
