Joycelyn Savage, R Kelly‘s alleged victim who claims to be his “fiancée,” has announced that she is pregnant.
The 26-year-old revealed the news in a new 24-page e-book that details her relationship with the rapper.
On Thursday, it was reported that Savage, 26, had written a book titled Love and Joy of Robert about “the beginning of my life in Robert’s shadow, where things began to take off, and where they are currently going.” The book was published today (12 August).
She went on to call her relationship with Kelly “amazing,” before declaring him the “best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
She describes receiving an engagement ring in the mail months before discovering she was pregnant in the e-book.

Kelly’s representative opposed this comment. Gerald Griggs, an attorney for Savage’s parents, claimed that Savage never informed her family of the engagement or even mentioned the “possibility” of the couple getting married.
Given that Savage didn’t swear under oath that they were engaged, Griggs also questioned the veracity of the couple’s alleged engagement.

Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison on racketeering and sex trafficking charges earlier this year.
Savage reportedly first referred to Kelly as her “fiancé” in a letter to a federal judge in which she asked for a lenient sentence for him.
According to TMZ, Savage wrote, “Thank you for the opportunity to share my experiences. “I’m Joycelyn Savage, and I’m Robert Kelly’s fiancée. I’m writing in support of Robert ahead of his sentencing so that I can explain to the court that I’m not the victim that the government has painted me as.”

She wrote in her e-book, “I began expecting severe morning sickness and was unsure what was wrong with my body. I thought I had Covid-19, but the most amazing news was that I was pregnant.”
“It was a happy day, but it was an incomplete period in my life. Today, I thank God for the most precious gift he has given me. Robert is overjoyed at the news that I am expecting a child, but he is disappointed that he will be unable to join us.”
