Mukesh Ambani began his formal address at the 45th Annual General Meeting on Monday. Talking about the success of Reliance Retail he informed that the company has achieved a record of Rs 2 lakh crore turnover and an EBITDA of Rs 12,000 crores.
“Let me congratulate the entire leadership team of Reliance Retail on achieving a record of Rs 2 lakh crore turnover and an EBITDA of Rs 12,000 crores. Today, Reliance Retail is among the Top-10 Retailers in Asia,” said Mukesh Ambani
“Reliance Retail’s purpose is to serve millions of customers daily with unlimited choice, outstanding value proposition, superior quality, and unmatched experience through our physical stores, or digital and Omni-commerce platforms,” he added.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) posted a 46.3% growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 17,955 crore in Q1FY23 compared to a profit of Rs 12,273 crore in the same quarter last year. Q1 PAT climbed 10.8% from Rs 16,203 crore in the preceding quarter. The bottom-line figures are attributable to the owners of the company. Consolidated revenue from operations climbed to Rs 223,113 crore up by 54.5% in the quarter under review, from Rs 144,372 crore in Q1 last year, and recorded a single-digit growth of 5.3% from revenue of Rs 211,887 crore in Q4FY22.
Reliance Industries shares were trading 0.20% lower at Rs 2600.00 apiece on the BSE at 15:11 PM.

Isha Ambani, Mukesh’s daughter also shared some stats about Reliance Retail, saying that there are over 200 million registered customers and over 520 million walk-ins to their stores.
She added that there are 6 lakh orders delivered every day via their digital commerce platforms.
Reliance Retail, founded in 2006, is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited. The outlets offer food, groceries, and apparel, among other things. Isha heads Reliance Retail, which is headquartered in Mumbai.
