Actress Mahalakshmi, who is well-known for her roles in television series such as Vani Rani, Office, Chellamay, Uthiripookkal, and Oru Kai Osai, has wed Tamil film producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran. Under his Libra Productions banner, Chandrasekaran has produced movies such as Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma and Murungaikai Chips among a few others.
Through their social networking profiles, Ravindar and Mahalakshmi both posted images from their wedding. Ravindar and Mahalakshmi have both been married before, making this their second union.
Ravindar captioned his Facebook post by writing- “If you have a girl like Mahalakshmi, tell me that life is good. But if Mahalakshmi is the one who has life…Little story with my daughter-in-law!'”

Mahalakshmi’s first project, the Arasi serial, which debuted between 2007 and 2009, featured Kollywood actress Radhika. The actress became well-known for playing Poongodi in the Sun TV drama Vaani Raani. Along with her serial career, she also appeared in video commercials. She also appeared on the reality television programme Anu Alavum Bayamillai.
Ravindar has contributed to well-known films such as Markandeyanum Magalir Kallurium and Sutta Kadhai. In the year 2022, Ravindar’s previous film, Markandeyanum Magalir Kallurium, was released in theatres.

He was born and raised in the Indian city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Ravinder’s professional career began in film production. He founded his own production company, ‘Libra Productions,’ and produced the film ‘Sutta Kadhai,’ directed by Subbu.
He then went on to make films such as Nalanum Nandhiniyum (2014), Kolai Nokku Paarvai (2014), Kalyanam (2017), and Murungakkai Chips. He later became the director of the Markandeyanum Magalir Kalluurium.
