Jamaal Williams, running back for the Detroit Lions, scored his 12th rushing touchdown in NFL 2022 against the New York Giants on Sunday. The two sides locked horns at the MetLife Stadium in Week 11.
Williams had three rushing touchdowns against NY Giants with 7:22 left in the third quarter. Detroit led the game 24-6 at the point.
While, Lions fans seemed enthusiastic about the RB’s touchdowns, D’Andre Swift fantasy owners were upset.
Swift, starting running back for Detroit, had 18 rushing yards in three attempts. The ball was thrown only twice at him.
Jamaal Williams, on the other hand, had 44 rushing yards in 10 attempts (stats updated in Q3).

Jamaal Williams’ first touchdown came in the second quarter, giving Lions a 10-6 lead. With 0:54 left in the quarter, he scored again.
Williams scored his third six-pointer in Detroit Lions’ opening half drive, to take his side’s lead to 24-6. Jason Cabinda had an early chance in the game but he dropped it in second down. The team then settled for a 24-yarder from Michael Badgely.

The New York Giants then scored a touchdown to take a 6-3 lead.
Jamaal Williams was rostered by 91% of fantasy owners in Week 11. He has now seen double digit carries in all games he has played this season.
D’Andre Swift, rostered 99%, had only 13 carries in three games since returning from injury. He was held to 12 yards last week but managed to score a touchdown. The RB went untouched for a nine-yard score.
