Two months after Kanye West was welcomed by Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk, the former’s account has been suspended again as of December 2. Musk stated that Ye’s Twitter account was suspended for incitement to violence.

The rapper, known as Ye, had violated Twitter guidelines, leading to his account’s suspension. On Thursday, December 1, the rapper tweeted a picture of Endeavour CEO Ari Emanuel, spraying water at the back of Musk’s head. “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet #ye24”, he captioned.

Who is Ari Emanuel?

Ariel Zev Emanuel is an American businessman born in 1961 in Chicago to Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, a pediatrician, and Marsha Emanuel, a human rights activist. He was raised in the suburbs of Wilmette, Illinois.

His two brothers are Rahm Emanuel, the former mayor of Chicago, and Ezekiel Emanuel, an American oncologist. He also has an adoptive sister, Shoshana Emanuel. Emanuel earned his bachelor’s degree from Macalester College, Minnesota.

Emanuel was a business partner at InterTalent and a senior agent at ICM Partners. Described as a mogul and power player in Hollywood, he has been named in Fortune’s Businessperson of the Year list and has been named as one of the biggest guns in the consolidating entertainment business by Fortune.

In 2011, Emanuel co-founded TheAudience with Sean Parker and Oliver Luckett. He is the co-CEO of IMG, a global talent and event management company. He is the acting CEO of the American holding company for talent and media agencies, Endeavour Group.

He has been a part of quite some controversies, including when he was accused of allowing a friend to operate a pornographic website out of Endeavor’s offices, and when he made racist and anti-gay remarks. In October 2022, he urged businesses to stop working with Kanye West.

In 1996, Emanuel married his girlfriend Sarah Hardwick Addington. They have three children. They were married for 20 years, after which Emanuel filed for a divorce. In 2022, he married fashion designer Sarah Staudinger.
