Bill Gosh, a World War II veteran and a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, was honoured at Highmark Stadium ahead of the Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets Week 14 match on Sunday. The 98-year-old was at the Highmark Stadium to see in-person for the first time his favourite team play in the NFL. He was honoured by the Buffalo Niagara Honour Flight.
“Oh, I could not believe it. There I am and I felt the whole screen up,” Gosh said when asked by an NBC News host about how it felt to be honoured at the Highmark.

Who is Bill Gosh?
Bill Gosh joined the Marine Core in 1942 serving overseas mainly in Asia. His daughter Suzzane said that her father was nearly moved to tears by the emotional tribute to his service.

“It gives me great pride to say that this man my father did what he did but also he was with a group of men who fought for our country,” she told NBC News in an exclusive interview.
After hearing about Bill’s Service, the Buffalo Niagara Honour Flight too the initiative to send the 98-year-old to his first-ever Buffalo Bills game at the Highmark. The Buffalo Bills also teamed up with them to welcome Bill Gosh and honour him for his work to protect the people of USA in the World War II.

He received a hero’s welcome from his neighbours as the Niagara Honour Flight cavalcade took him to the stadium. “I can’t believe all of this for me,” an emotional Gosh to NBC News as he boarded the Limousine to travel to the Highmark.
