Amazon Studios unveiled a new trailer for ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’, at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The creative team and cast of the series took to the panel in Hall H to showcase details and talked about what to expect from this new series. ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is a prequel that will be released on September 2. 

The newly launched trailer teased people with large-scale and action-packed sequences in the series. The trailer highlighted the impending war coming to Middle Earth since and a familiar evil rising and taking form.

The new trailer of the series showcased some of the larger-than-life locations and gave additional surprises like Gadriel having her first contact with a Palantir. It also teases people with the presence of Sauron as fear spreads across the continent because it is once again going to terrorize Moria. 

The series is also expected to cover multiple storylines like the high politics of the elven kingdom of Lindon to the dwarf mines of the Misty Mountains. Númenor will also slowly converge for the creation of powerful rings.

‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is a milestone production. Season 1 will be the most expensive season with a budget of nearly half a billion dollars for TV. 

The series also features an ensemble cast led by Robert Aramayo as Elrond, Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Maxim Baldry as sailor Isildur, Nazanin Boniadi as human village healer Bronwyn, Ismael Cruz Córdova as silvan elf Arondir, Charles Edwards as elven Smith Celebrimbor and many others. 

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is developed and produced by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. Prime Video premieres ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ on September 2 this year.
