Ahmedabad’s fully packed Narendra Modi Stadium witnessed Bollywood’s ‘Gully Boy’ Ranveer Singh set the stage on fire on Sunday at the closing ceremony of the IPL 2022 final with a dance performance of his greatest hits.
Singh, who started off with ‘Ainwanyi Ainwayi’, a track from his debut film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, followed by ‘Jeetega Jeetega’ from his latest sports film ’83’, made the crowd go berserk over his energetic dance moves.
He then danced on the ‘RamLeela’ track ‘Tattad Tattad’, followed by ‘Tune Maari Entriyaan’, a track from ‘Gunday’.
The 36-year-old was seen in a bright glittery red blazer with blue lapels, a sparkly blue t-shirt inside, shiny black latex pants and dark shoes. He completed the look with a circular gold pendant around his neck.

Singh, who sported a rugged look with messy long hair and a beard, was seen performing with a dance troupe choreographed by Shiamak Davar. The backup dancers were seen wearing parrot-green pants and orange shirts.

The end of the ‘Padmaavat’ star’s lively performance was followed by a series of fireworks. Later on, a montage of the history of Indian cricket was played, which began with India’s 1983 World Cup win. The clips featured several other iconic moments like Virender Sehwag’s triple-ton, Sachin Tendulkar becoming the first cricketer to hit a double century, the World Cup win of 2011, and the Champions Trophy victory in 2013.

After Singh, music maestro AR Rahman took the stage and charmed the audience with his melodious tunes.
