Actor Yuvika Chaudhary found herself in controversy after she used a casteist slur in her vlog while describing her looks. Soon after she posted the video that also features her husband, Prince Narula, ‘#ArrestYuvikaChaudhary’ started trending on Twitter. 

Following the incident, Haryana Police booked Yuvika on Saturday on a complaint a Dalit rights activist, who alleged the actress of making distasteful comments about the Scheduled Caste (SC) community in the video, Economic Times reports.

The actor apologized for her comment, claiming that she %u2018didn%u2019t know the meaning%u2019 of the word. %u201CHi guys I didn%u2019t know the meaning of that word I used in my last vlog I didn%u2019t mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone I apologise to each and everyone I hope you understand love you all,%u201D she wrote on Instagram.

Yuvika appeared in several Bollywood films including Shah Rukh Khan starrer %u2018Om Shanti Om%u2019. Her other films include %u2018Summer 2007%u2019 and %u2018Toh Baat Pakki!%u2019. In 2011, she appeared in %u2018Naughty @ 40%u2019, which was her first role as a lead actress opposite Govinda.

In 2015, she participated in %u2018Bigg Boss 9%u2019 and later participated in the dance reality show %u2018Nach Baliye%u2019 in which she emerged as a winner.

Her most recent releases are The Shaukeens, Afra Tafri, and Yaarana. She was also a part of the Punjabi film Yaaran Da Katchup (2014).

Her other small screen stint includes Zee TV’s %u2018Kumkum Bhagya%u2019 as Tina and %u2018Laal Ishq%u2019 as Shikha opposite Prince Narula, her now-husband.
