NFL 2022: Top 10 Running Backs from Week 2

The second week of NFL started with a very thrilling encounter between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers where the Chiefs came from behind to beat their AFC west rivals by a score of 27-24.

This week, many running backs had stellar games. Below is the list of the top 10 RBs of the week: –

1) Nick Chubb (Cleveland Browns): Chubb was phenomenal in Week 2 against the New York Jets. The player scored three rushing touchdowns and had 17 carries for 87 yards in the game. This week he ranked number-1 in Yahoo fantasy football’s list of running backs.

2) Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys): Pollard came into this week’s clash against the Cincinnati Bengals on the back of a very poor performance in Week 1 versus the Buccs. However, he scored a TD this week while also rushing with the football more as compared to the previous week.

3) DeAndre Swift (Detroit Lions): Swift definitely raised his stock this week following a smooth performance against the Washington Commanders. Although he failed to score a touchdown, he showed promise that the player can be relied upon by the QB to carry the football against tuff defenses in the coming weeks.

4) Damien Harris (New England Patriots): The RB was terrific this week as he scored a touchdown to go with 71 rushing yards in 15 carries as the team won their first match of the season.

5) Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers): Fantasy football’s second most selected pick played a second successive good game as he finished without a touchdown this week but rushed for 102 yards. The Panthers have lost both of their matches to begin the season and are bottom of the NFC south standings.

6) James Robinson (Jacksonville Jaguars): The Jaguars won their first game of the 2022 NFL season with an astounding victory against the Indianapolis Colts, 24-0 being the final score. Robinson in particular had 23 carries for 64 rushing yards and scored one touchdown in the process.

7) Austin Ekeler (Los Angeles Chargers): Chargers played this week’s Thursday Night Football match against the Kansas City Chiefs but lost a close battle, 27-24. Austin Ekeler couldn’t score a touchdown but played well on a day when his team led for almost all game before being outplayed by the Chiefs in the fourth quarter.

8) Clyde Edwards Helaire (Kansas City Chiefs): Helaire played a decent game against the Chargers as he recorded 74 rushing yards in just 8 carries to lift the team past the team from Los Angeles.

9) Breece Hall (New York Jets): Rookie Hall scored his first NFL touchdown against the Cleveland Browns as the Jets defeated the Browns 31-30. Hall also had 50 rushing yards in seven carries for the game.

10) Darrel Williams (Arizona Cardinals): Williams score a touchdown against the Raiders in Week 2 as the Arizona Cardinals recorded their first win of the 2022 NFL season. The team had a very poor Week 1 performance against the Chiefs who demolished them 44-21 in the Cardinals’ home.
