It’s possible that Meghan Markle may soon sign an expensive deal with Dior. Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence are already associated with the French fashion business, and earlier this year, Johnny Depp signed a $20 million fragrance contract with them.

A source is quoted as saying: “There have been rumors for weeks that she’s about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive. If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season.”

These suggestions of Meghan being the ‘Duchess of Dior’ come after she and Prince Harry were called “f***ing grifters” by a top Spotify executive when their $25 million contract was terminated.

The Sun on Sunday also stated that Netflix is not likely to extend the rumored £81 million contract with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because they feel “the lemon has been fully squeezed.” Despite their documentary series Harry and Meghan becoming the most-watched subscription TV show of 2022, “there are no plans for a follow-up series,” the paper claims.

The news of Dior’s collaboration with Markle, however, is not being received well by the public, and social media is supposedly prepared to Boycott Dior if the agreement is finalized.

A Twitter user also posted, “Please if there is any truth in the rumors about Meghan Markle please have a re think. Loved your work for years ( sadly cannot afford it) so please don’t risk or cheapen it using that woman. H made one of your suits look like high street knock off, don’t risk her, she’s too old,” while another said, “Dior signing on Meghan Markle is as equivalent as to bringing in Amber Heard, if not worse.”

A third user commented, “Meghan Markle is desperately chasing Dior to sign her up for a gig. Imagine #WalmartWallis endorsing a signature brand. Her supporters are bots & trolls from other countries mostly from Africa who don’t even watch Wakanda movie. If Dior is trying to kill its brand, they will.”
