Gold prices on Monday traded on a flat note, after falling about 1.3% in the previous session, as investors cautiously awaited the US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting for cues on its rate-hike path. The Federal Reserve is expected to announce another 75-basis points rate hike at its meeting this week, although the central bank is seen slowing its aggressive pace in December.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased on Monday, October 31, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,234.00 per 10 gm, down 4 points or 0.01%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 57,139.00 per kg, down 341 points or 0.59%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,640.48 per oz, while silver is priced at $19.01. Platinum was trading at $930.50, while palladium was trading at $1,904.00. 

Copper futures were trading at Rs 645.20 down 1.05% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 506.90 and Rs 194.40 per Kg respectively on MCX.

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 49,290 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 57,419 per kg on Friday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

According to the Good Returns website, ten grams of 22-carat gold is being sold for Rs 46,750 in Mumbai and Kolkata. In Chennai, the same amount of yellow metal can be purchased for Rs 47,050. Today, it costs Rs 46,900 in New Delhi.

The 24-carat gold rate is Rs 51,000 for ten grams of metal in Kolkata and Mumbai. In Chennai, the same amount of gold is being traded for Rs 51,330. It can be purchased for Rs 51,160 in New Delhi.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,780 and Rs 46,800 in Patna and Surat, respectively. In Patna, the same amount of 24-carat purity is worth Rs 51,030, while in Surat, it is worth Rs 51,050.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,750 in Kerela, Bhubaneswar, and Vishakhapatnam. The same amount can be purchased for Rs 46,800 in Bengaluru, Mysore, and Ahmedabad. In Kerela, Bhubaneswar, and Vishakhapatnam, ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 51,000. The same amount of 24-carat gold can be purchased for Rs 51,050 in Bengaluru, Mysore, and Ahmedabad.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,050 and Rs 46,900 in Madurai and Chandigarh, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 51,330 in Madurai. It is worth Rs 51,160 in Chandigarh.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold is bought and sold for Rs 46,780 in Pune and Vadodara. In both cities, the same quantity of 24-carat purity is sold for Rs 51,030.
