The 30-share Sensex closed 68.62 points or 0.12% down at
57,232.06 and the Nifty dropped 28.95 points or 0.12% to end at 17,063.25.
Among the sectors, the realty index surged 3%, while auto and capital good
indices closed with losses. BSE midcap and smallcap indices at the close were
up 0.5%-1% each.

Here are the key stocks that moved most during today’s
trading session:

FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa): The share surged 1.87%
to close at Rs 1,355.95 after the company informed exchanges on February 22
that the lawsuit with L’Oreal SA was settled. “The certified true copy of
the Delhi High Court order dated January 21, 2022, was received by the company
on February 21,” it said.

PNC Infratech: The stock jumped 11.91% to close at Rs 274
as it received orders worth Rs 4,384 crore from the National Highway Authority
of India. The company was the lowest bidder in the three new hybrid annuity
modelled national highway projects. PNC has gained Package 1 and Package 2
orders for the construction of a six-lane upgradable project to eight-lane of
Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. The two projects under the
Bharatmala Pariyojana stands at the order value of Rs 2,926 crore.

Mahindra CIE Automotive: The share lost 2.42% to close at Rs 195.20 after the
company’s net profit dropped 28% YoY to Rs 80 crore due to increased input
costs in the third quarter of FY22. Revenue increased 5.4% to Rs 2,064 crore
reflecting low demand in the automotive industry due to semiconductor
shortages.

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances: The shares surged over
2% after Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals announced to acquire a
controlling stake in the company. The stock erased most of its gains and
settled at 0.64% higher at Rs 1,396.10.
