The Sensex rose 130.18 points or 0.22% to 59,462.78 while
the Nifty was up by 39.15 points or 0.22% to 17,698.15 at close of trading on Friday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 59,538.08 and
59,113.01. There were 13 stocks advancing against 17 declining stocks on the
index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,724.65 and 17,597.85.
There were 26 stocks advancing against 24 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE mid-cap
index up by 0.15% and small-cap index up by 0.39%. The top gaining sectoral
indices on the BSE were Oil & Gas up by 2.47%, Energy up by 2.15%, Metal up
by 1.77%, Utilities up by 1.60% and PSU up by 1.53%, while Healthcare down by
1.02%, TECK down by 0.80%, IT down by 0.76%, Auto down by 0.23% and Capital
Goods down by 0.13% were the top losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were NTPC up by 3.26%, Tata
Steel up by 3.25%, Power Grid Corporation up by 2.24%, ICICI Bank up by 1.80%
and Reliance Industries up by 1.64%. On the flip side, Infosys down by 1.56%,
Maruti Suzuki down by 1.35%, Larsen & Toubro down by 1.25%, Tech Mahindra
down by 1.02% and Sun Pharma down by 0.72% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were ONGC up by 5.05%, NTPC up by
3.48%, Tata Steel up by 3.39%, UPL up by 2.80% and Power Grid Corp up by 2.31%.
On the flip side, Divi’s Lab down by 5.75%, Apollo Hospital down by 2.85%,
Infosys down by 1.62%, Maruti Suzuki down by 1.34% and Tata Consumer Product
down by 1.29% were the top losers.

Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Transmission Limited, AMD
Industries Limited, APL Apollo Tubes Limited and Cantabil Retail India Limited have
hit a 52-week high on Friday.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, Black Box Limited, HDFC
Mutual Fund – HDFC NIFTY NEXT 50 ETF, HDFC Mutual Fund – HDFC NIFTY 100 ETF and
Krsnaa Diagnostics Limited touched a 52-week low on Friday.

Zomato Limited (ZOMATO), Tata Elxsi Limited (TATAELXSI),
Reliance Industries Limited (RELIANCE) Tata Chemicals Limited (TATACHEM) and Tata
Steel Limited (TATASTEEL) were the most active equities on NSE.

Crest Ventures Limited, SBI Mutual Fund – SBI-ETF 10 YEAR
GILT, Shriram City Union Finance Limited, GOCL Corporation Limited and Indo
Borax & Chemicals Limited were the top volume gainers.

21st Century Management Services Limited (21STCENMGM),
Adroit Infotech Limited (ADROITINFO), Ansal Properties & Infrastructure
Limited (ANSALAPI), Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited (CCCL) and
Diligent Media Corporation Limited (DNAMEDIA) hit the upper price band.

Ankit Metal & Power Limited (ANKITMETAL), Antarctica
Limited (ANTGRAPHIC), CMM Infraprojects Limited, Easun Reyrolle Limited (EASUNREYRL)
and FCS Software Solutions Limited (FCSSOFT) hit the lower price band. There
were 19 securities that hit the upper band while 15 hit the lower band on August
12, 2022.
