The Indian cricket team is set to face arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday and we all know, nothing unites us more than cricket. Fans from both countries have already started launching friendly attacks on each other but what’s winning the banter is India’s food delivery brands with their sassy sense of humour.

Known for optimally utilising the trends, food delivery brand Zomato is in no mood to spare the Pakistani cricket team today. Their alerts on Sunday are funnier than social media memes. Don’t believe us? See for yourself.

Well, Zomato is not the one to stop at alerts. Earlier, the company, known for its creative marketing, took a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board and advised them to order “Pizze and Burgers” in advance.

If you still couldn’t get it, the “pizze and burger” here refers to a famous monologue by one of Pakistan’s popular content creators Momin Saqib, popularly known as “Maro Mujhe Maro guy’.

Saqib’s video went viral when India defeated Pakistan in the 2019 ICC World Cup match, in which he criticised the Pakistan cricket team’s fitness and diet habits.

Meanwhile, Zomato’s competitor and another food delivery brand, Swiggy, has also made sure that fans don’t miss out on their amazing treats during the “mother of all battles.”

Well, jokes and marketing aside, India and Pakistan cricket teams will lock horns for their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 campaign opener on Sunday.

The match will begin at 7:30 pm and will be telecast on all Star Sports channels-Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 3 and Star Sports 3 HD as well as DD Sports.
