The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the examination schedule for classes 10 and 12 on Tuesday. The exams are set to be conducted offline and likely to be held from May 4 to June 10. Once released, the datesheet will be available for candidates on CBSE‘s official website cbse.nic.in.
Keeping in mind the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the syllabus for this year’s exams has been reduced by 30%, while the paper will have 33% internal choice questions.
The schools will be conducting the practical exams from March 1 and all the exams, including the written tests, will be held following COVID-19 safety guidelines, such as wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. The results will be announced on July 15.
Here is how to check the exam schedule once the datasheet is available:
- Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.nic.in
- Click on the ‘classes 10, 12 datasheets’ link.
- The datasheet will then appear on the screen, which can be then downloaded.
The results of last year’s exams were released in July, with 88.78% students clearing the class 12 exam, and 91.46% clearing class 10.
