Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to apply for admission and re-registration of the July 2021 session. Students can apply for admission, re-registering for the July 2021 session until September 15. The university had previously extended the deadline several times.

IGNOU registration is for new applicants and re-registration for students who have already registered. Students can check out open and long distance learning programs and find more information on programs offered by Open University at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU tweeted that it had “extended the deadline for the new submission of ODL & online Programs and re-registration of July 2021 Session until September 15 2021. Candidates
can re-register and apply for new admission now by using the Samarth Portal on
IGNOU’s official website.”

“The fresh
applicant is required to create new registration and submit all the details and
choose the programme he/she wants to pursue. The applicant should read the
instructions carefully while submitting the application. The university offers
programmes in various disciplines at Masters’ Degrees, Bachelors’ Degrees, PG
Diploma & Diploma, PG Certificate and Certificate Programmes and
Appreciation/Awareness level,” IGNOU said.
Non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs. 200 will be charged along with the first semester tuition fee at the time of admission.

The University on August 31 launched the Alumni Portal and Facebook page. A university official said the Facebook page would help bring Alumni to one place and make it easier to exchange ideas and experiences, while the Alumni Portal would provide a database of registered alumni, which would be helpful in improving their collaboration with the University.
