The Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 registration process is extended again
now the last date to fill the application form is September 30, 2021.
Candidates who had not applied so far for the entrance exam can apply by
visiting the official website of GATE IIT Kharagpur i.e. gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

A candidate
currently studying in the 3rd year or more of any undergraduate degree program
can apply for GATE 2022. This year, two new subjects have been introduced which
are GE (Geomatics Engineering) and NM (Naval Architecture and Marine
Engineering) so, GATE 2022 will be held through 29 papers. The GATE 2022
 exam will be conducted in online mode in a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The GATE
2022 question paper will be comprises into three sections- Multiple Choice
Questions (MCQs), Multiple Selected Questions (MSQs), Numerical Answer Type
(NAT) Questions.

Candidates
are advised to pay separate fees if they are applying for more than one paper.
The GATE 2022 exam will be conducted in two shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and from
2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The time duration of the exam will be three hours. However,
if candidates failed to apply they can also apply by paying additional late fee
of Rs 500 before October 1, 2022.

Candidates
can apply for GATE 2022 examination by following the steps mentioned below:

to the official website of GATE 2022 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Step 2: On
the homepage, click on the “GATE 2022 online application” link

Step 3:
Enter all the required details

Step 4: Pay
the application fee and click on submit

Step 5: Download
or take a printout of online applications for future use

The Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 entrance exam will scheduled to be
held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. Applicants will receive a screen count
calculator to use during the exam. Applicants should keep in mind that they
will have to carry one valid ID proof along with admit card to the examination
centre.
