The JEE Main BArch and BPlanning exams are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, February 23. They will be held in two slots – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. 

The two exams will be conducted separately as Paper 2A and Paper 2B respectively. The BArch and BPlanning exams have three sections in the paper and will be held for a total of 400 mark each.

Mathematics and Aptitude tests will be common for both exams and will be conducted as a computer-based test. The BArch exam will have a Drawing Test which will be pen and paper-based while the BPlanning exam will have planning-based questions. 

Here are things every student must know before the exam:

1. Marking: Both exams will have four marks for one correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. However there is no negative marking for numerical value questions.

2. Exam pattern: Both exams will have three sections in the question paper for a total of 400 marks.

3. The Drawing section of the BArch exam will test a candidate’s drawing skills. Candidates should have all essentials like geometry box, pencils and pens.

4. The JEE Main BTech and BPlanning papers will be held only twice, unlike the newly-introduced four times a year Mains. 

5. Candidates need to carry JEE Main 2021 admit card, valid photo ID card, self-declaration undertaking and wear masks and gloves as per COVID-19 protocols
