The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday released the notification for the civil service prelims exam (CSE) for this year. Candidates can apply from Thursday and March 24 is the last date to apply.

They can apply on UPSC’s official website — upsc.gov.in. or upsconline.nic.in.

The prelims exam is scheduled for June 27.

Eligibility

1) Candidate should be an Indian national for the posts of IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and IRS (Internal Revenue Service). For other cadres, citizens of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugees can also apply. 

2) Candidates should not be less than 21 years and more than 32 years of age. However, upper age relaxation is given for those from the reserved categories.

3) Candidate must hold a graduate degree from a recognised institute/university.
