After the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021 in the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Union Ministry of Education was soon expected to take a call on the conduction of NEET and JEE exams, but the Centre has yet not taken a decision on the same. NEET 2021 is scheduled to be held on August 1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet not released the information bulletin and the registration details.
With only 41 days left for the biggest medical exam in the country, here is what we know so far.
1- “The situation is being reviewed to decide on the schedule of the pending editions of JEE-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1,” a senior official told PTI.
2- Universities are set to begin the admission process in July.
3- According to Delhi University Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor PC Joshi, there is a possibility that Centre could adopt the CUCET method for admission in Medical colleges.
Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a single entrance test for admission to 45 central universities across India.

The NTA has developed a new website, neet.nta.nic.in for the 2021 edition of the exam. Application forms and other details will be available here when released.
