American singer Tina Turner passed away after suffering from a long illness at the age of 83. Her representative said on Wednesday that she died peacefully at her home in Küsnacht, near Zurich, Switzerland.

Tina known as the Queen of Rock N Roll, had several ups and down throughout her life. Her memoir “My Love Story” unveiled several revelations which shocked the world and were often circled in controversies her five biggest controversies revolved around the renowned singer.

The revelations depicted the hard life the singer had to go through at times, from an abusive marriage to the loss of her son.

Turner’s book “My Love Story” revealed, she attempted suicide while she was married to Ike. Tina accused Ike of physical, mental and sexual abuse in their marriage. She said, “He threw hot coffee in my face, giving me third-degree burns”, and “He used my nose as a punching bag so many times that I could taste blood running down my throat when I sang. He broke my jaw. And I couldn’t remember what it was like not to have a black eye”

Tina had numerous abuse in her marriage with Ike. Tina in her book wrote Ike took her to a brothel on her wedding night, she wrote, “People can’t imagine the kind of man he was – a man who takes his brand-new wife to a live, pornographic sex show right after their marriage ceremony”.

In her memoir, Tina claimed after she left Ike in 1976, her husband sent goons to break her when she filed for divorce. Once the goons shot into their house.

Tina’s life was not just limited to abuse, she had a lot of mental drain too. She suffered a heartbreaking blow when her eldest son Craig died by suicide at the age of 59. In her memoir, Turner recalled the final conversation they had.

Turner decided to leave public life and married Erwin Bach in 2013. The couple settled in Switzerland.
