Daredevil- This takes place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is not kid-friendly. Daredevil may be up your alley only if you like the dark and gritty tone of Ozark. It is a legal crime drama, with the added bonus of some visceral and entertaining action.  Daredevil is brutal and grounded in reality. Actor Charlie Cox gives a great performance.

Dexter-  Audiences are taken on a journey with someone who appears to be an upstanding citizen but is actually a criminal. Dexter is a serial killer. The family dynamic between Dexter and his sister is gripping. There is no shortage of drama in this show and  Ozark fans would love to watch it.

Bloodline- Just as Ozark contains beautiful aerial shots of the Missouri Ozarks, Bloodline does something similar with its Florida Keys setting. The story of Bloodline revolves around the Rayburns, who are dysfunctional, to say the least, and after one of the brothers returns home, many secrets are revealed. It’s a dark family drama.

Fargo- Ozark has a dark sense of humor. If you like the combination of murderous midwestern stories with a tinge of humor then FX’s Fargo is for you. It is an anthology, where each session is a new story with a set of new characters. The series has been graced with big names such as Billy Bob Thornton, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor, and many more.
