Actor Christina Applegate, known for her work ‘Married… with Children’, ‘Dead to Me’ and ‘Bad Mom’ revealed that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is a condition that affects the body’s central nervous system and eats the immune system eats away its own protective cells.

The 49-year-old announced about her health in a tweet and said that she came to know about the condition a few months ago.

“Hi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some asshole blocks it,” Christina wrote on Twitter.

However, this is not the first time for Applegate to suffer from a serious health condition. In 2008, she made the decision to remove both of her breasts in a double mastectomy.
