‘Black Panther’ star Michael B Jordan has been given the title of ‘Sexiest Man Alive 2020’ by People magazine. The actor was recently included in Time magazine’s list of ‘100 Most Influential People of 2020’.

Jordan, who is known for his critically-acclaimed performances in ‘Fruitvale Station’ and ‘Creed’, was announced this year’s title winner on ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Tuesday night.

Taking the good news to Twitter, Jordan wrote, “The @people said it! #sexiestmanalive.”

The actor told the magazine in an issue that the honour is a cool feeling. He also said the women in his family are proud of his title.

Jordan has joined the likes of John Legend, Idris Alba, Dwyane Johnson, Adam Levine, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp among others as he became People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for 2020.

The star has been vocal for promoting diversity in Hollywood. In 2018, his production company became the first to publicly adopt inclusion riders, which prescribe that a film hires a diverse team.

At the height of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests over racism earlier this year, Jordan teamed up with NGO ‘Color of Change’ with many others and launched an initiative so that Hollywood could invest in Black stories and anti-racist content.
